This location was awful. In 2026 to still allow smoking in your facility without proper ventilation is ridiculous. The hotel and our room itself smelled heavy of smoke. There was literally a lady walking through with a lit cigarette in her mouth as we were heading to our room. We asked to move rooms because of the smoke smell in our room. The first lady we spoke to at the desk shortly after we arrived said it would be an additional $150 for them to move us the next day and they would come up and spray the room. Moving the next day was not the acceptable solution, because they still had rooms available and spraying was not the root problem, it's poor ventilation in the hotel overall. We ended up having to staybin the room that night, but went back down around 3:30am because our neighbors were loud and we couldn't sleep. They said they would send up security, no one ever came. My fiance finally spoke with another worker that said she could move us to the other tower and it would only be $10 extra per night. We were very confused because how does the price change so drastically. We finally get moved round 1pm that day and then the power goes out in the hotel the next. It was a complete mess for our group of 10. Half of us had power the other half did not. Even with the moves needless to say we will never recommend nor stay at Harrah’s again. This was a major flop and put a damper on our trip completely.

Beautiful historic hotel in a great neighborhood. The lounge and bakery were added bonuses. The only small complaints I have are I wished they had another spot for luggage in the room and a few more nice pillows on the beds. We got a couple pillows from the front desk, but they weren’t as comfy as the two on the bed.
